Kalkara Boatyard can lift boats up to 40tons. The cranes are equipped with the latest safety electronic equipment and are periodically checked to ensure that the cranes and its equipment meet the highest standards.

Another service that the Yard offers is the weighing of boats. Cranes are equipped with electronic weigh cells for clients wishing to know the weight of the boats. This is done at an extra nominal cost.

Directly after hauling out the boats are put on specially designed cradles that would already have been put on the Yard's state-of-the-art hydraulic transporter where the boat will be taken to its allocated area.

The Yard also offers, according to availability, free mooring while boats are waiting to be lifted out. The same applies to when the boats are put back in the water or according to arrangements made with the client.
